Whiteley Church are organising a ‘Living you best life’ wellbeing and eco event on Saturday 18th May, would you like to be involved?
If you have in interest or a business that fits our theme for which you would like to take a stall at our event please get in contact with our organising co-ordinator Vikki by emailing her at firstname.lastname@example.org
We’ll have some bicycle mechanics joining us to offer free/low cost bike maintenance so that we can encourage people to get out and about on their bikes, which is good for their health (both physical and mental) and good for the environment (rather than taking a car) – so don’t forget to bring your bicycle. We’ll also have the local Locks Heath Tuneless Choir promoting how beneficial to mental health singing can be, alongside various eco products for sale from individuals and eco businesses, Brightside Personal Training will be with us to talk to you about how to get fit and healthy, some representatives working with Extinction Revolution regarding Climate Change, plus some ‘get yourself moving’ challenges and competitions. Of course no Whiteley Church event is complete without a raffle and some cakes (so although we’re thinking about healthier living, we will have a ‘treat yourself’ corner).
The fair will take place on Saturday 18th May, at the Whiteley Community Centre (at Gull Coppice, off Yew Tree Drive, PO15 7LA) between 1.30pm-3.30pm.
