We are a lively church in the heart of the community which is made up of people from all walks of life. We value good Bible teaching and committed relationships in which we can live out the message of the Bible. We believe that we are made for a relationship with God, who loves each one of us passionately and cares deeply for us. We try to share God’s love for all across Whiteley and throughout the world.
Whiteley Church is a Church of England church and part of Fareham Deanery in the Diocese of Portsmouth.
We meet weekly at Whiteley Community Centre and our Sunday services include a range of music from worship group-led songs to video accompaniment, prayer and encouragement from the Bible. We include children in our morning service before they go to their age-specific youth groups. We celebrate Holy Communion twice a month.
As a church passionate about community, we encourage people to join small groups in which to build relationships and support each each other. We have a number of weekly study groups meeting in people homes, regular men’s breakfasts, and the Open Door cafe. We’d like to see these groups grow and provide great support and outreach to our community.
New to Whiteley?
If you are new to Whiteley and want to be part of the community here, then we want to welcome you as part of God’s family in Whiteley. It’s always difficult making your way into any community – if you are new then there are several ways you can do that. Join us at our Sunday services as we worship together and study the bible. But sometimes this can be too big to make meaningful relationships so we encourage you to introduce yourself to a church Warden or discover some of our groups like the Open Door cafe.
