Whiteley church worships every Sunday at 10am in the Community Centre in Yew Tree Drive. We particularly welcome families with young children.
Our services are informal and include contemporary and traditional Christian music. We are child orientated with children’s groups. We do not have a supervised creche but we do have a creche area where families with very young children can sit whilst still enjoying the service, and a room where younger children can go to play. In each service we listen to a reading from the Bible and explore its relevance and message to our lives today. We pray for one another, our community and the wider world. Refreshments are available after the service, and the opportunity to chat and enjoy some time together.
| ‘LITTLE FISHES' | We have lots of young children in our church, including babies. Our Children’s Groups start with Creche, and our Sunday School is from 3 years. Children are in church for the start of our worship and then spend time together enjoying Christian teaching in a fun and informal way. Our Wake up & Shake up Service on the first Sunday of the month is especially for children, and they love to enhance our worship with their 'shakers'. For more information please go to Contact Us.
| Prayer Requests | | Baptisms, weddings, funerals | If there is something in which you would like to be supported by prayer, please contact Rev Lorraine or Rev Gary Snape on 01489 881500, or go to Contact Us. Prayer Ministry is available at all our services, just approach one of the team who can be identified by their badges.
| | We may not have a church building in Whiteley yet, but we still do weddings! You can get married at either St Peter's Titchfield or St Paul's Sarisbury Green, although our Minister will perform the service for you. Please contact the Minister by going to Contact Us.
| Home Groups | | Friendship | Please speak to the Minister. Home Groups provide an opportunity for learning together more about the Christian faith and life, supporting one another and sharing in life’s ups and downs. We also have a Men's Breakfast (full English!) one Saturday a month. Just for fellowship and a hearty breakfast.
| | Part of building community and sharing our lives together is having fun! We like to socialise and enjoy shared lunches, BBQs, Barn dances, football and cricket.
