Messy Church

Messy Church is an informal experience of Church where all the family can explore faith together through creative activities and celebration. With our modern busy lifestyles we know that making it to Church on a Sunday morning is not always possible. Sports clubs, child care, or even work can make this difficult, whilst some people just can’t cope with a traditional Sunday morning service so Messy Church is an opportunity to enjoy some family time, together on a Sunday afternoon – with a few activities thrown in.

During the year we run Messy Church activities at either Whiteley Community Centre or Cornerstone Primary School. Messy Church is NOT just for children – it is for everyone – young and old alike, so everyone is welcome.

Come and join the fun and experience Church in a new and different way.  We start at 4pm with an hour of craft activities, then at 5pm we have a short celebration time with a story on that sessions theme which is then followed by a time to share tea/supper together.

There is NO CHARGE for Messy Church, but we do appreciate all and any donations to help us keep our craft activities and tea time food running.
