Young People at Whiteley Church
At Whiteley, we are passionate about young people and love having them around! Our services are open to all ages and children are free to get as involved as they like.
We want to invest in our young people through sharing life, teaching the Bible, praying, worshipping through song and creating an honest culture so they understand who they are in Christ. We strive to equip Christian young people to live their lives by God’s grace, standing tall for Jesus, equipped by the Holy Spirit in every aspect of their lives.
During our weekly services we offer age specific youth groups which the children are invited to attend after the first set of worship songs. With many young children in our church, from infants to teenagers, our Youth Groups start with a soft play Creche in the main service to our Sunday School from 1 years up. We also run a toddler group during the week for under 5s.
Our All Age Service on the first Sunday of the month is especially for the entire family. During the summer there are no Youth Groups until the school term re-starts.
Monday Minis is a new under 5s toddler group run by Whiteley Church and local parents on behalf of Whiteley Community Association. Running on Mondays, 1pm-2.45pm, during term time. More details on the Monday Minis page >
Dolphins is our Sunday School group for children aged 6 to 11 years old. – Due to a lack of leaders we unfortunately have to currently roll our Little Fishes and Dolphins groups into one. If you can help us and would be willing to help lead one of our age groups we would love to chat further.
RE:Charge is our teenagers group for children in secondary school years 7-11 . The group meets twice a month on Sunday’s during the service. Led by Cat and Mandy, RE:Charge uses materials from Urban Saints.
